Focus and Scope
Academics, researchers, and students with a background in accounting conduct research and publish their manuscripts in the Monex Journal. With issues including financial accounting, auditing, tax, accounting information systems, management accounting, SMEs (small, micro enterprises) accounting, public sector accounting, Sharia accounting, and sustainability accounting.

Peer Review Process
Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by Blind Preview Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month for a maximum time. In the each manuscript, Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer that collaboration with Monex is the experts in the accounting area and issues around it. They were experienced in the prestigious accounting journal and publication that was spread around the national and abroad.
Manuscript processing time in Monex:
- The author has 15 days waiting period on the first article submission, the section editor will decide whether the article needs to be revised or not.
- Section editor needs 3 days to examine the article based on Monex Journal author guideline.
- Author has 12 days to revise the article consistent with the Monex Journal author guideline.
- The revised article given to the editor to be reviewed, the editorial team needs 15 days to finish the review.
- If the article Declined, section editor has 3 days to inform the author regarding the editorial team decision.
- If the article Revision Required, editorial team will proceed the article to the reviewer.
- Reviewer has 30 days to review the article divided into two times review and provide the decision, Accepted or Declined
- The editorial team discusses the final decision in an editorial team meeting whether the articles recommended by the reviewers proceed to be Published or Declined. The editorial team has 20 days to make the final decision.
- The soon-to-be-published articles, lay-outed by the section editor for 30 days.
- Author has 3 days to confirm the layout result.
- Section editor publishes the accepted article
Publication Frequency
MONEX published by Accounting Program Study of Politeknik Harapan Bersama Tegal each year consists of two volumes, each volume consists of two publications which are published on a regular basis (every six months), that every January and July.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
This journal is an open-access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institutions (for online version only). Users or people can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full-text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. Hence, there is no subscription fee to access the online version of Monex articles.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
Scientific Statement
Monex is a national scientific journal that prioritizes scientific publications based on scientific research and literature review, with the aim of seeking scientific novelty, and creativity with the topic of Accounting and Financial. In conducting scientific publications Journal Monex implements appropriate publishing management articles, such as the review and editing process. Then Journal Monex provides a platform for scientists and researchers in Indonesia.

CODE OF SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION ETHICS AND WRONG STATEMENTS
Monex is an accounting research journal reviewed by bestari partners/ peer reviewers, available in printed form and online and published twice a year. This journal follows the guidelines based on the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) in dealing with all aspects of publication ethics, and specifically how to handle cases of research and publication errors. This statement explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the publication of an article in this journal, including the Author, Chair of the Editorial Board, Editorial Board, Bestari Partner/ peer reviewers and publisher (Accelerator Science and Technology Center - National Nuclear Energy Agency).
After you have read the Scientific Publication Code of Ethics and the Wrong Action Statement, please download the Statement of Ethics and Submission of the Copyright Agreement. Please sign and submit the Ethics Statement as part of your initial article submission. Copyright agreements must be submitted before the article can be published.
Ethics Guidelines for Journal Publication
The scientific publication of an article is the work of the thoughts of a person or group of people after a scientific review is disseminated in the form of scientific papers, including journals, books, proceedings, research reports, scientific papers, and posters. This scientific publication is a direct reflection of the quality of scientific writings of writers and institutions where the authors work. It is therefore important to agree on ethical standards of behavior that are expected for all parties involved in the act of publishing: writers, editors or editors of journals, bestari partners/ peer reviewers, publishers, and the public.
The Joint Research and Community Service Center (P3M) of the Polytechnic of Hope as the publisher of the Monex Journal carries out the task of escorting all stages of publication carefully and also about our ethics and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprints or other commercial income does not affect or influence the decision of the Editorial Board. In addition, the Center for Research and Community Service (P3M) of the Harapan Harapan Polytechnic will assist in communication with other journals and/or publishers if this is useful and necessary.
Code of Ethics for Editors
Editor of JurnalMonex determines the publication process and integrates the functions of authors, bestari partners/ peer reviewers, and journal managers to publish papers based on scientific and ethical rules. The editor responds to criticism, suggestions, and objections from the author in an honest and transparent manner. The editorial task also maintains the independence of the journal from the consideration of pure commercialization and seeks to keep the journal as the main class journal in its field. Editors work based on ethical principles and standards as follows.
- Be responsible for the choice of journal content and strive for continuous improvement in the quality of publications.
- Obliged to make a writing guide for the author along with the template.
- Critically assess that writing is free from ethical, honest and objective, independent violations, assessing each of the qualities regardless of nationality, ethnicity, political beliefs, race, religion, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation of the author, and free from prejudice in making decisions including in choosing best partners.
- Ensuring that the writing review process is carried out thoroughly, transparently, objectively and fairly.
- Ensure that all published papers have gone through the review process by qualified partners.
- Guarantee the feasibility of the bestari partners/ peer reviewers selected according to their competencies. The selected bestari partner members/ peer reviewer members are those who can consider writing and do not have a conflict of interest.
- Refuse writing without going through a review process if it is not in accordance with the scope of the journal or of low quality, but not because of the background of the author or affiliated institution.
- Strive to ensure that research published in accordance with the guidelines of the ethical code published by LIPI and relevant international guidelines.
- Provide a form to be signed by the author regarding ethical statements (ethical clearance) and copyright agreements.
Code of Ethics for Peer Reviewers
Bestari partners/ peer reviewers are those who help editors to critically examine the substance of scientific papers in accordance with their fields of expertise, so that partner partners play a very important role in the process of scientific publication. Bestari partners/ peer reviewers work based on ethical principles and standards as follows.
- Required to be honest, objective, unbiased, independent, and only in favor of scientific truth.
Ensure that the names listed as authors include the order in accordance with the order of their contribution and are approved by all members. If there is a change, subtraction, or addition of the author's name, it is agreed upon by the other author. The author ensures that all non-substantive contributing parties in the paper will be given thanks.
Collectively responsible for the work and content of the article which includes methods, analysis, calculations, and details.\
Inform the editor if he will retract the paper.
Inform the editor of the paper which is part of a gradual, multidisciplinary and different perspective study.
If requested, the author prepares the evidence that the research conducted has met the ethical requirements of the study, including providing field notes or research log books.
The author responds adequately if there are comments or responses after the paper is published.
