Edukasi Calon Pengantin Berisiko Untuk Mencegah Stunting di Kecamatan Lhoksukon Kabupaten Aceh Utara
Abstract
Konsep Developmental Origin of Health and Disease (DOHaD) menekankan keterkaitan kesehatan usia dewasa dengan kondisi awal masa kehidupan. Tingginya prevalensi stunting berkaitan dengan faktor risiko ibu hamil usia remaja dan status gizi Kurang Energi Kronik (KEK). Tujuan PkM ini untuk memberikan edukasi terhadap calon pengantin berisiko dari aspek umur dan status gizi sebelum hamil. Metode PkM berupa penelitian tindakan yaitu membangun kapasitas pihak terkait dalam intervensi antara lain penanggungjawab program upaya kesehatan masyarakat terintegrasi di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Puskesmas Lhoksukon dan mitra intervensi kegiatan Bimbingan Perkawinan yaitu Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Lhoksukon. PkM dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan dimulai 15 Juni sampai dengan 15 September 2021 dengan tahapan kegiatan konsolidasi, identifikasi sasaran, peningkatan kapasitas petugas kesehatan dan pelaksanaan edukasi serta evaluasi. Lokasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah di Kecamatan Lhoksukon. Hasil PkM berupa informasi KEK periode Januari sampai dengan Agustus 2021 dari 193 calon pengantin 35 catin (18,13%) yang mengalami KEK dengan indikator pemeriksaan Lingkar Lengan atas (LiLA) kurang dari 32 cm, selanjutnya 10 calon pengantin (5,18%) berusia kurang dari 20 tahun. Petugas terkait kemudian menetapkan sasaran intervensi berupa edukasi perencanaan kehamilan dan upaya mencegah stunting secara terintegrasi.
