Analisis Jarak Penggunaan RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) pada Prototipe Smart Home

Abstract


Abstract  Smart home is a technology that is used to simplify homework by increasing safety, efficiency and comfort. Security is one of the goals of smart home created, so it needs to be improved starting from the beginning in and out. With the development of smart home technology to improve home security, many tools or sensors are being used, one of which uses RFID or Radio Frequency Identification. Research and Development (RnD) is used in this research, namely by designing, manufacturing, testing products by analyzing the distance that can be used in the use of RFID. The result of this research is that RFID can be used when the distance between the RFID tag and the RFID reader is between 0 cm to 1.4 cm, and this RFID cannot be used when the distance between the RFID tag and the RFID reader is more than 1.6 cm
